Taking the Hiring and Retention program at Survival Strategies helped me to streamline my hiring process and make needed changes. Screening and interview techniques that I learned have allowed me to get a fuller picture of a job applicant before making a job offer.
Closing a prospective employee has always been a struggle for me. After the training I found I am much more likely to continue to pursue a desired applicant until I can close, agree to speak at a future date or have decided that they are not the best fit for us. This technique has helped me in hiring our clinical director, who is invaluable to the company as well as other staff therapists who have been recently hired.
